According to CNN the comedy web television series will not come back to Netflix after three seasons as announced by the streaming giant.
We’ve made the very difficult decision not to renew One Day At A Time for a fourth season. The choice did not come easily — we spent several weeks trying to find a way to make another season work but in the end simply not enough people watched to justify another season.

The sitcom follows the daily struggles of a cuban-american family, it is acknowledged as one of the best sitcoms in Netflix’s history, it has scored 98% on Rotten Tomatoes 91% according to the audience.
The series have brought up some groups’ issues often marginalized on TV, such as the LGBT community and the Latino community.
